Had this car for around 3 1/2 years and it's been the best car we have owned. Had a couple of Evo's before this and they where really hard work to drive.
This is so smooth and throttle response is so much better its unreal. Obviously not as quick but the power is there when needed.

It's got 92k on the clock,last serviced by Vw around 300 mile ago (December) and off the top of my head full vw history.
Haldex has been serviced within the last 20k so that's all good.

Just been mot'd with just an advisory on a nail in rear tyres

Interior is in good condition,full leather with no rips or holes in any of the seats.

Bodywork again is in very good condition. Does have a slight bubble of rust appearing on the passenger side rear quarter where the skirt meets the bodywork and a chip near the front of the skirt. This was there when we got the car and hasn't got any worse. Boot handle is also bubbling and common on the mk4's.

Nice clean straight car,only had 2 minor issues with it. 1 being a couple of coil packs going (common on vags) .
The other is the eml light has come on. 1st time it was after the milltek was fitted it came on the same day,I reset it and all was fine. Now the car has been stood for 3 months due to me breaking my tib and fib,but started regularly by the mrs but she came in the other day saying a light had come on. Checked it on a cheap hand held scanner and it looks like an 02 sensor fault.
I'm am hopefully going to have it checked by the local specialist on the weekend so will know for definite what it is.

Only been used to go to work and back,around 6 miles a day if that for the last 34 month and the odd occasion around the country to vw shows. We have only covered 20k in the last 3 1/2 years and only 4k in the last year.

Only reason it's for sale is the mrs has a new job and is now doing around a 30 mile round trip to work and I don't want to run up the miles on the golf hence the low miles covered last year. I will also be starting a new job and will have a van so don't want this to be sat around.

I'm in absolutely no rush to sell,just testing the water to see if there is any interest
