The back story

In May 2014 this AX failed its MOT on a CV gator, a blown exhaust down pipe and a broken headlight lens. The owner though it wasint worth fixing for it to pass and was just going to scrap it......he was going to scrap an AX with only 34.300 mile on it!! so a stepped in and bought it, saved it and loved it.

About the AX

Yes... it has many dents but a A knight in shining armor is a man who has never had his metal truly tested. A lot of these AX NEONs where scrapped years ago meaning there is only 16 left but this one going strong! The interior has very little wear and its just like stepping back in time to 1993. The underneath and the arches are in just as good condition as the interior (which surprised me to be honest).

Engine /gearbox :
1.0 litre (49,203 miles)
single point injection
8 valve
petrol
purple 5 speed 1.1 gearbox (originally had a 4 speed)

Servicing and new parts fitted:

Engine:
New timing belt (at 35600 miles), fan belt, air filter, fuel filter oil and oil filter, alternator, whole new exhaust including lambda sensor and Cat. Replaced the 4 speed for a 5 speed gearbox with new gear oil, driveshafts and gearbox seals, coolant flush and change.

The rest of the car

New front wish bones (with new bushes and ball joints), disks, pads and rear shoes, brake fluid changed, 4 new tires, new headlights and wiper blade (just one of the front), new windscreen washer motor.

It has lots and lots of service history and many many receipts.
