Description:
Although I'm not 100% convinced I want to do this it looks like I'm going to be abroad for the majority of next year so my sileighty is going up for sale or swap for something a bit more modern.
It was originally a U.K. Sunroof model s13 but it's pretty much been completely converted inside and out.
The shell is probably one of the better U.K. Spec ones I've seen with the only rust spots being on the usual spot on the front chassis legs. This has been sorted so it's once again a solid example. You can even jack it up on the sills without the usual s13 crunch! It's had a complete windows out respray in a Lamborghini pearl yellow, undersealed and most of the seals on the windows, sunroof etc have been replaced. Full PS13 front end, metal bonnet, brick headlights and clear indicators. Full charge speed kit, a couple of cracks on the front bumper but nothing that couldn't be fixed. The rear arches were blended by the previous owner and there is some cracking on the drivers side but tbh this hasn't bothered me too much. 180sx rear lights and centre panel and the 180sx brake light in the boot lid.
Underneath it's pretty much fully poly bushed including diff mounts, subframe mounts, steering rack etc etc. I think it's got AKX damping adjustable shocks with lowering springs which gives a firm but decent ride on the road and plenty of grip. Z32 brakes all round with grooved disks and decent pads.
Engine is a red top SR20det that has only covered around 2000 miles since having a rebuild. Has HKS forged standard sized Pistons (bores have been honed to accommodate expansion) standard rods, had a freshly polished standard sized crank, king bearings , cosworth MHG, updated springs and retainers and I believe new crows feet were put in by the previous owner. Pulls well, no smoke or anything dodgy. Slight slap from the forged pistons as you'd expect. Alloy radiator and intercooler, electric fans and all the other usual stuff you'd expect. Battery relocated to the boot.
Interior has the digi dash and JDM stalks, digi climate control Sony double din Bluetooth head unit, updated speakers front and back (not bothered looking at the type), s15 front seats, leather s13 rear bench which has seen better days if I'm being brutally honest. Still got all of the interior in place and carpets in the boot and the front of the car.
It's currently on the road and being used as my daily but it's an awesome base car for someone. Ready for some cams, bigger turbo, injectors and a map. The standard rods will happily take 400bhp all day long or you could change them and push a bit more.
There's loads I've probably forgotten so if you have any questions just ask. Also it can come with a load of random spares I've got lying around if the price is right.
Asking £7k ovno for it as it sits or the price will go up as I finish off the little bits and fix the cracks and repaint. Also interested in swaps for something more modern and sensible with cash my way.
