Bad Points:

I bought this some 9 months ago with a gearbox issue but thought it might of been an easy fix by topping up the gearbox oil but alas it did not work. Essentially goes into drive fine, pulls away powerfully and smoothly but does not go through the gears to increase speed above 20mph and stays in low ratio. It also selects and reverses fine and smoothly. I have also had it on VAG diagnostics a number of times, all the internal sensors are active but no fault codes whatsoever !!! It maybe something simple as an transmission oil and filter change or an electrical hook up connection but alas I have neither the time nor the skills to undertake. Shame really as it has a good strong engine and pulls like a train (Previous owner had it chip tuned to 172bhp) and with a good valet, and gearbox sorting, will make a brilliant motor. It has no MOT but by the look of the tyres, bodywork and exhaust emissions (totally clean) it should fly through. It was previously a Cat D but was fully and professionally repaired, it's just I thought I'd mention to be 100% honest :-)
