Ford Escort 1.6 16v Si

Bought this Escort from a guy who inherited it from his relative, has been left parked in the old owners garage since 2004/2005. i bought it in a state but managed to clean the body work up as much as I can, it did start with fuel through the carb but needs much more than my engineering skills to reinstate it. the body work is excellent for a 20 year old car and after replacing the battery seems everything works as it should. its had the same owner since 1999 and he parked it up after trying to sell it back in 2004. has almost full service history with it, and has the red key. also V5. wanted it as a project but wife wont let me keep it. reluctant to give it up but maybe swaps could be a option. what have you got. by the way just over 500 left of this model Escort Si....This is a Future Classic and can only go up in value.
