Description:
For sale or swap is my beloved Renault Clio 182 Sport.
Is is quite modified as I had the intention of putting in track, however change of circumstances (and house) meant it was no longer viable.
I am only the 3rd owner, with the previous lady having bought it in 2008 and selling it to me in 2016. Big folder of receipts and history, very well looked after!
Cam belt, water pump, dephaser, aux belt and tensioner were all done at the same time 2 years ago, using the proper tools, by myself (motorsport mechanic for 6 years)
She was bolted onto the hub dyno and health checked and had 165bhp (before modications, however not been back to check after figures)
- Brand new wheels 15" with continental contact 2 tyres all round (about 2k miles)
- Brand new genuine x4 injectors
- Brand new full service kit just fitted (NGK plugs correct spec, HT leads, Bosch filter and Castrol 10w40 oil)
-Brand new Sony multimedia radio (Bluetooth, NFC, USB etc)
- Geunine Carbon Fibre bonnet
- OMP steering wheel boss kit
- Genuine Sparco steering wheel
- MK1 Renault Scenic / Cup setup indicator stalk with horn push on end
- 1x Willians 6 point harness fitted and 1x Luke 4 point harness fitted (however out of date 2016)
- Motordrive bucket seats fitted (also out of date for rally use, expired 2017)
- custom seat rails to mount lower (ALS passenger and Motamec driver aluminium side mount seat brackets)
-custom driver foot tray to suit lowered steering column
- custom wiring and aerial rerouted to passenger side
- custom 2.5" exhaust with Miltek centre sections and silencer along with repackable rear silencer
- custom air filter setup with cold air box with feeds to it (replacing fog lights that always break)
- custom MK1 Renault Scenic shifter, modified to suit the Clio
- custom flat top dashboard
- custom rear speaker set up allowing storage behind
- all airbags behind dashboard removed
- standard equipment works perfectly with electric windows, climate control, automatic wipers and lights all still present (however no cruise control due to Sparco wheel)
- proper bought small font front number plate
- the only let down is that there are a couple of marks to the body work on the rear left of the car, however they have never bothered me, in an ideal world, you could smarten the front bumper up too
All of the sound deadening was removed properly and any unnecessary brackets were removed. The inside was primed using Wurth primer and finished in matching Renault Titanium Silver along with being lacquered on top!
It has served me well, even with the bucket seats, I have driven her nearly everyday for the past 2 years comfortably, however I'm after something a bit bigger, preferably a MK5 Golf GTi or similar
