*VERY RARE US IMPORT* NORTH CAROLINA UNIVERSITY, FIELD-WORN FOOTBALL TRAINING JERSEY.
Men's Size Large.
An excellent collection piece and worn in one North Carolina University training session, hence the absolute mint condition.
Made by Russell Athletic for North Carolina University Football Team and bought from their supplier Bocock-Stroud.
This is a heavyweight gauze mesh material and all numbers and stripes are printed 'into' the material in a thick rubberised print. It is a proper 'on-field' shirt and is much thicker and heavier than a usual NFL 'fan replica' jersey.
Double-stitched nameplate on the back.
Heavy elasticated cuffs and collar with a double-stitched 'stretchy' panel running down both inner arms.
This was designed to be worn with shoulder pads and a chestplate and the panels running down the inner arms have buttonholes to attatch to the underside of American Football shoulder pads.
Impossible to find this jersey (or one like it) in the U.K. for an affordable price.
