Here I have my GTI, it's been well cared for and is currently stage 2. This car is so fast! 22mpg round towns 40 mpg on a motorway, so not all that bad but I'm driving a lot of miles now. I change the oil every 4 months to keep it fresh. It has had lots of stuff done including full 3 inch decat system, Brand new Bilstein shocks with H+R springs, recent cambelt, water pump, Rev D diverter valve, forge pcv valve, on Uniroyal rainsport 5s tyres, replaced all engine mounts with OEM with insert on gearbox mount, needs rear quarter panel resprayed as fading been done by previous owner and wing worries lacquer peeling, just put Brembo brakes on and I replaced battery about 2 years ago with Bosch S4, I've also replaced front caliper, it has Panasonic DD, a boost gauge and I've had wheels powder coated in shimmering gold to be different, I've owned this 4 and half years. Decent car just so you know numbers on 1.5 mile closed road speedo reading 165mph still pulling and does 0-60 4.5 secs. This is a great car, I do 12,000 miles a year never misses a beat on any journey. Worth the 2.8k I would want for it cash I'd ask more but needs a bit of bodywork and miles are getting up there but don't let that put you off I look after it servicing it.
