BMW E46 show build

Our budget Build released.

The budget build project was a random impulse buy, we saw the car on facebook, sent a message and 4 hours later we collected it.

The idea was to build something pretty cool and in your face for under 2k but to also make something cheap and affordable to run for someone when we come to sell it.

We all know how the BMW E46 is becoming a pretty iconic car especially the M3 so this 320d CD SE Msport just worked out perfect and its pretty specced up from factory for an old car. The car has a mega 204k miles on it but full service history, 3 owners only from new, 2 keys and didnt knock or bang at all which clearly shows the build quality and how this car has been maintained from new which just worked perfect for us to create a budget build from a cool looking E46.

We created a carbon ducktail wing with the help of Unique Carbon ans these will be available for sale shortly on www.inspiredracedevelopments.co.uk.

A set of fully adjustable camber coilovers was ordered to give it some stance, Some split style rims were next on the cards and obviously we needed the Nankang Race tyres being our always go to tyres.

The bumpers were faded and tatty so we repainted the black sections and grills and replaced the front grills with the newer M3 style ones.

Mitch got a little giddy with the bonnet and decided to cut some carbon vents into them just because we hadn't done vents for a long time.

We opted to fit the Inspired Race Developments Side Extensions and new CSL front spats which are also in production at present and to make it really stand out we chose probably the brightest colour wrap available and tough ourselves to wrap a car in 2 days which even impressed ourselves, We did have some help from Vinyl Destination as we ran short on time and had them wrap the bumpers on our behalf whilst we continued with our current bookings in the studio.

After being accepted into Gravity we had to call Tony banks Exhausts and get a last minute Exhaust fitted as the back end was missing something and the new owner is going to need some noise with a car which stands out like this.

The final part of the build was to get LS Tints to come and lightly tint the rear of the car just in time for us to hit Gravity Show by Slammed UK

The above mods or upgrades would cost you around £4000.00 alone if you're were to pay companies to do these, all parts are brand new and just fitted by ourselves or companies we work local with as part of this budget build project.
