RARE Ford transit mk1 van 1969 perkins, low mileage, 1 owner..


This is my 1969 Ford Transit, i had a guy Neil Humpreys a so called sprayer from Cullompton work on it, prior to going bust & disappearing. The van was built in Langley (spitfire factory) in early 1969, then lived in Malta till 3 yrs ago. The van is solid, there is no welding to be done.


This is a project, the parts are all there. including ford workshop manuals & thousands of pounds of spares. Including 2 engines & the original came back from the machine shop with new liners, pistons, head on the perkins. That alone cost £1500.


THE VAN REQUIRES PAINTING & REASSEMBLING.


I was let down on this van & have too much on to do it. This would suit a guy who wants a new project as it is rare & would be well worth the effort. They sell completed for silly money. 


I may go for a swap, but has to be an easy project or something i can use, a camper van would be good. Cash is king though.


I paid well over the price i am asking. You just cant find these vans in such a solid state. May swap for other interesting vehicles. No realms of fantasies, if you can't refurbish vehicles its not for you. If you haven't the money or a good swap its not for you.
