Engine was timed using true top dead centre to time the camshaft in using a Summit Racing wheel from America, true top dead centre isn't the marks provided by manufactures this are there just for cambelt / chain changes etc.
Before first start cylinders had a smear of graphogen to prevent wear during the build and if you know evos the oil pump was primed before timing belt was fitted.
I spent hours lapping the valves in
hours doing the piston ring gaps with a Piston Ring vice from America
The Block was sent away along with the pistons and bored to 85.5mm (standard is 85)
On return I measured everything,
Start motor rebuilt alternator rebuilt
Full engine gasket kit was used
New water pump
Polybush engine mounts
Forge polished exhaust manifold cover
New spark plugs and fuel filter last month
I change the oil and filter before every winter
90% of the bolts were replaced with brand new ones from
Mitsubishi Telford
including the power steering reservoir which I had to wait to come from japan
New Oil Pump and seals were fitted during the build including the oil filter housing
New Crank sensor
Aircon pump was retained as I wanted to keep this
mapped to 379 BHP as the actuator started to bleed off around 400bhp, a new turbo actuator would see this figure but then it would also need to be remapped again.
I have the original wheels freshly painted in the house with no tyres on
The seats aren't ripped
I don't let anyone sit in the back
Defi gauges include Fuel Pressure, Oil Temp and Oil Pressure Clifford concept 650 MKIl with Black jax anti theft
2 issues that don't really bother me,
#Speedo is intermittent
# AYC pump requires a rebuild
2 Trackers fitted to this vehicle which would require time to be Removed
