Needed gearbox which had been removed but reinstalled so he obviously knew because it hadn't been tightened up properly. Obviously new parts would have cost over £2000 but I managed to repair for £250.
A bit odd that he removed all contact details straight after the swap...
All in all, sill a fair swap given the replacement parts turned out to be so cheap!
