Kenn is a fantastic swapper! He welcomed us into his lovely home and showed us his guitar collection. He really has an impressive collection of guiats! Polite and courteous, he is a thoroughly nice bloke. Im pleased with the les paul ive gotten from Kenn. its in decent condition just as he said. I wouldnt hesitate to swap with him again. The communication was good, but the accuracy of the guitar was not as good as it could have been, particularly from someone who makes guitars as a living! Apparently it was taken out of the back of his collection and looked at very quickly without a thorough check. It was largely in good condition, and the guitar is made from quality components, but it was sorely in need of some TLC. For example, the frets were not glued in correctly and a lot of them needed re-glued and clamped in a vice. I swapped my Fender with a hard case, only to receive the replica yamaha in a soft. However, that is maybe my own fault for not asking the right questions. First swap and all that. So, in summary, not the best experience but ultimately I think the guy is honest and I'd deal with him again. The replica is now set up and playing really well.
