Gibson Les Paul Standard

Description:

Les Paul Standard which has been modified and upgraded since rolling off the Gibson production line in 2001. Gibson customer service have checked out the guitar and advise that it was originaly an ebonite model. Mods done in the USA include:
Refinishing top in gold.
Replacing 490R with GFS P90 ( 489T is original ) GFS is punchy and warm and not muddy like the 490R.
Fitting of Bigsby Vibromate
Mods in UK :
Replacing Grovers with Spurzels.
Replacing Nashville bridge saddles with Graph Tec.

Got guitar from guitarist with The Fortunes and he bought it from a store in New York. It is a really comfortable easy guitar to play and is set up with a nice action with 11's. Neck is a cross between 50's and 60's profile and has some light fret wear which should not cause any playability issues for some time yet.
Case is worn from gigging but could be restored with some love and care.
Health issues dictate that a slightly lighter instrunment is required.
