Ford 1.8 DOHC 16V Engine NEVER USED!!

NEW FROM FORD DEALERSHIP

1.8L DOHC 16V Ford Engine that was made around 1991 before Ford re-branded them as Zetec a few year's later due to legal rights. It was originaly fitted in the MK5 Escort & MK 3 Orion. There's loads of information out there about these as they were tuned & then used in the RS's, ST's etc. There's a good piece on Wikipedia explaining the standard bhp & what it was at various levels of tuning in the different Car's. Their now used in Kit Car Builds & Engine Conversions for smaller Car's.

This Engine itself was bought direct from Ford Main Dealership a few year's ago for a customer that decided not to have the work completed in the end & left me with a huge bill. I've stored it in the workshop ever since thinking I'd use it for something one day but I've now closed up shop & this is taking up space in the shed. As you can see, everything still looks brand new & unused except for a tiny bit of Alloy Corrosion on the Rocker Cover that will obviously just rub right off.

Comes complete with everything in the picture's, including the Injector Rail & Exhaust Manifold
