Aprilia RSV 1000 2001 Top Condition

I bought this RSV in Cornwell 2009, took it to Germany and had some great fun learning about this bike making me buy the full race model of that era for track use only. This one was only used on the road and kept as a spare in the end.

I have had it professionally tuned with the addition of a rapid bike electronic fuel injection manager (in 2011) to increase the response as well as customised mapping if I chose to build it for the track which I didn't have to do due to the reliability of my factory model (also a 2001 model).

Hence this one was always garaged or kept in a van to avoid theft.

The motor, gearbox, suspension and exhaust are completely original, I have a separate after market end can which I used for additional performance gains (the original weighs a ton).

The fuel injection system and fuel pump has been electronically cleaned as that is the only weak link to most bikes due to the poor quality of petrol world wide and usually clogs when bikes are left standing for more than 6 months.

The fairings have been resprayed back in 2014 with a deeper (Ducati) red due to the original sticker decay and the original red dulling out to an orange red effect which turned me off.
