Basic Driving Simulator Setup
Location: Yorkshire and the Humber - Doncaster
Swap Value: £400-£500
Description:
I'm putting this up for swaps. It isn't an expensive simulator with the moving seats as the are worth a few thousand, but it is a great set up for a starter set.
The Logitech G27 wheel is known as one of the best wheels of it's generation, the force feedback is fantastic when properly set up and it also has the 6 speed shifter set with a pedal box that includes a clutch, a necessity when it comes to racing if you ask me. It also has a set of paddle shifters.
I have been using this with no problems for around 4 months now, the clutch and manual gears make drifting very immersive. I have been using it with the game Live for Speed and I'd say you can easily transfer the skills learnt in this game to a track.
The gaming rig included will play most if not al racing games to date, I have Assetto Cora, rFactor 1 and 2 and Project Cars and it runs these on max settings with no lag at all thanks to the 2GB graphics card. It will also play other games, I have GTA V and CS:GO and both run well on the top settings (although I didn't get the chance to test 4K settings).
I have a 15" monitor to include in the right deal but it will plug straight into any TV via HDMI which I'd recommend.
