Here for sale is my mk2 golf driver painted in ipanema Brown. It is a very basic 1.6 driver no central locking, no power steering and no electric windows but in some weird way I think that adds to its charm. In early 2017 It has had a full respray inside and out, new plugs, leads, oil, filters, air filter, rotor arm, distributor cap, exhaust, JOM adjustable coilovers. It is fitted with a pioneer radio and new set of speakers in the dash. The interior is out of a early mk2 jetta and the seats are from a mk3 GTI. The headlining is in need of a bit of attention. Somebody has had a go at re trimming it in black but hasn't completed the sunroof. It also has been fitted with some brand new pressed plates and the 15” genuine porsche teledials, with genuine polished centres and it still has 8 months MOT.
As you can see from the pictures there has been a awful lot of time and effort gone into this car and its a shame to let it go incomplete but I have other commitments and it's time to let someone else tinker on with her. Here is a list of jobs. dashboard is squeaking behind the clocks, the exhaust is rubbing on the rear axel ever so slightly, the Clutch is low, It is missing the metal part of the rear window strips, the sun roof has been sealed and painted over. But the main thing this car needs it a new seal to go between the carb and the inlet manifold. It is drivable but the revs are running high on tick over.
I also have the original 14" steel wheels to throw in with the car if I get what I want for it.
