Here is my beloved Yamaha Thunderace YZF 1000 Aero Supersport.

I would prefer a swap.

This bike is a good runner. You can fill up on £19 and do 180 miles to the tank, which in my opinion is really good for a 1000CC. This bike is in reasonably good condition for the age, which is a 98 model (S Reg) making it 19 years old.

If you want a good reliable bike to have some fun on, or to commute with, this will be a good option for you. Comes with an upgraded exhaust system which replaces the old one which had an EX-UP valve in the collector box, I still have the old exhaust system if it's of use to you, so if you want it, let me know and recently added heated grips for the weather.

The downsides

1) When I changed my tyres at a garage, the fitters put the wheel-alignment square bracket the wrong way around, which left the chain slack and as I rode home, this broke the rear-hugger. I could replace this with a new one, but it doesn't bother me as it is.

2) The front nose-cone is missing the edges near the mirrors on both sides, they are barely noticeable and it could be tidied up with someone who knows what they're doing with plastics but it's something you only notice when you look for it.

I have just had the clutch pack replaced as I had been riding it very hard through the summer, and while continuing to ride it to work, it needed doing sooner rather than later.

The pictures I have uploaded are of good-quality and show everything, nothing has been hidden.

Just passed an MOT on 17th June 2017.
