2001 Audi TT Quattro 180 turbo 4wd. seen at tatton vwnw show 2017. This now been done in my rust paint I've made. I have pictures of it before and during the process. Original paint is still underneath. The rust only goes as deep as the primer. No it's not just been sanded down n left to rust. No it's not a wrap. First off its galvanized and rest is plastic. Full proper job done. Rust is only 5weeks old so still needs more time to mature. IF YOU DONT LIKE THE RAT RUSTY LOOK. DONT LOOK. ITS NOT FOR YOU
The car is/ was very straight before work was undertaken I have proof. It has lots of history. Last cambelt 30k ago. Runs and drives well. Recently added 18" alloys. 25mm hubcentric adaptors. Serviced. Abs light comes on /off randomly typical sensor issue these have. Engine sweet. Leather trim nice. Everything apart from heated seats work. There isn't another one I'm aware of YET!! One off Hence why it's on show at tatton . .
Had hundreds of photos taken at the show. Only a handful of people weren't sure it didn't like it. All allowed opinions lol. It is a Marmite kind of thing. You either love it or hate it. Don't be thinking it's going to fall apart in weeks. This has been done properly with PAINT ontop of primer. The rust only goes as deep as the primer. It's not easy.
