Love this wee felly to the moon and back, great crack from the old girl!
Putting it up out of interest to see who, if any, is interested and what is on offer.
She is a 1600 auto (1600 205 GTi engine, auto box)
Just crossed over 70 thousand miles.
I am only the second house hold that the car has been registered at since new! An elderly couple in Edinburgh had the car for the best part of 23years.
The car is practically completely standard, apart from the obvious ridiculously low ride height, recently refurbished Fondmetal alloys, 205 GTi steering wheel and a stainless center section that is.
I've always been 'that guy' to hate on autos but when this came up, I really couldn't walk away from it and I am so happy that I didn't. From drives around the town to long distance journeys she is such a joy to be behind the wheel of. So much attention is from all walks of life and, to this day I still haven't heard a bad word said about her.
The car is stupidly clean inside, outside and underside with the only exception being that she has a small ding on the NSF wing, a small ding on the OSR and a very slightly creased front passenger door which I was fully intending on sorting but I love the character, and I personally feel as if she suits them lol!
I have recently fitted 2 new driveshafts and bottom arms before MOT. And 205 GTi front callipers and discs. MOT is up tail end of May 2018.
She has undergone a full 3-stage machine polish and is regularly detailed on a weekly basis.
The car is also sporting around a 3000+watt sound system consisting of, Hertz door speakers front and rear, 2x Pyle 6crossover tweeters (so 12 tweeters) on the parcel shelve, Rockford Fosgate tweeters up front on the head-lining, and a Punch 1600w subwoofer in the boot. All be it, I am a man of my sounds and they will all be coming back out most likely!.... Deal depending however.
Would love a deal on any retro French hothatch.. Renault 5/19 preferably! Genuine mk1 Saxo VTS, AX Gti or phase 1 106 Gti
