Suzuki DRZ 400 S
Location: South West England - Northam, Bideford
Swap Value: £1.000+
Description:
So here for sale is my beloved DRZ, And reason for sale mid sneeze, Which we will get to later on.
Dr. Zeds have been hailed as the best dual sport motorcycle known to man, and with that in mind I acquired this steel mare back in 2013.
Since then she's taught me everything I know offroad. I wont lie and say she never gets wet, never been thrashed down green lanes,
and most definitely never been dropped; Because that's what shes made for. I cannot explain how bulletproof these bikes are,
I've never known her to not start, She carries on where other bikes give up, overheat, and go home.
On to the juicy bits,
A full, stainless, thundery, MRD SSW; which is the most desirable pipe for this bike, hand made by Sisneros speed works in america (£250 if you can find one!)
Black Talon wheels and gold talon hubs laced together by the gods themselves (£550)
The lightest cable clutch lever I've come across, Righteous stunt metal RST (£97)
E model base gasket, for slightly more compression
Lock-tight fix on crankshaft splines (reliability thing, look it up if curious)
Billet dipstick (at least 10hp)
Brand new YUASA battery
Manual cam chain tensioner (stops premature cam chain wear)
Practically new front tire, and new rear tire
New rear pads
Recently rebuilt front brake caliper
Box of bits (Lower seat, indicators, big plate, little plate, cardboard box)
Minor details like removal of the carbon canister, removal of kick-start sensors etc.
Years MOT
The not so juicy bits,
Plastics aren't as tidy as they look in pics, there's actually a cable tie holding one on (The side panel has a plastic 'hook' that holds it on in that particular spot)
Shes had her head reworked about 800 miles ago (new cam chain, gaskets, cam cover bolts etc, did all the work myself so call if you have any questions)
The usual Boot rub on the frame
The reason for sale,
Cats veterinary bills (he's not studying medicine, he got sick)
No need for a dual sport anymore
So that's everything worth mentioning, I genuinely love this bike and will probably regret selling it as per usual.
They are great bikes for new riders, excellent to learn to work on, and brilliant Sunday green lane hacks.
any questions call on 07896007002 (I work evenings so may not answer)
