RSVR FACTORY 2005 18K MILES
Location: Wales - Swansea
Swap Value: £5.000+
Description:
Hello and welcome to the ad for my Aprilia 2005 RSVR Factory, this is a bit long winded but I find the need to be honest and meticulous when it comes to selling.
The bike comes equipped with (for people who know these bikes, these are points that are basic on this model):
Adjustable Ohlins front suspension
Adjustable Ohlins rear suspension
Adjustable Ohlins steering damper
Full Carbon Fiber body inserts, front mudguard and rear hugger
Full Brembo brakes front and rear
Aftermarket extras:
Akrapovic Twin exhaust worth £900 and sounds amazing (not loud but loud enough)
Power Commander 3 fully programable
Brand new spare Double Bubble screen, never fitted to the bike.
The bike is running Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa tyres which the front was an advisory on the MOT, this was the only advisory.
These bikes are absolutely amazing, was given an MOT 3 years ago and used once afterwards for just under 200 miles and you'll find it hard to find one in this condition as the bike is in fantastic condition, small few bubbles on the tank but that's because of it sitting with fuel in it, the fuel was drained and the tank needs to be left open for 3 to 4 days to breathe and the bubbles will disappear slowly (also a common issue).
It does has 1 main problem and that is why it is cheaper than average, the clocks have reset to 000000 due to the battery going dead (which is a common issue with these bikes) but I am trying to find a set of clocks to replace them as close to the mileage as possible ... I will hopefully have a set by the time the bike sells, if not I shall discount the price of second hand clocks from the overall price to be fair (£150).
The mileage is backed up with all the previous MOT's that come with the bike booklet and service history. This does not in any way affect the functioning of the bike, it rides and runs superbly with no known issues.
It has always been stored in dry place as it has been one of my closest friend's pride and joy and has been cleaned very frequently ... he really was meticulous and I was there the day he bought the bike, we have been on many ride outs together (ride buddies) as I had a Gen 1 (I have photos of us riding out together) and I know, at least, the last 5 years history of this bike.
I have the original booklet with manuals and receipts for services, the last one was 3 years ago but it was a major service totaling more than £700 but has been used very little since due to him having another bike.
The bike starts on the button every time and rides superbly, I have only had it a week and done about 150 miles on it but I suffer from circulation.problems and even though I would love to keep this bike my arms nor back can take it for more than 30 min riding (I'm 44 years old and I've had 3 bike accidents, 1 major and 2 minor so I'm not in the best shape for my age).
I do really regret selling her as I've owned her for just over a week but it's not for me unfortunately ... I've had to spend an hour in the hot tub afterwards to relax the pain it's caused me (please read above) .. I am in need of a more upright bike due to my previous injuries.
For a test drive, you deposit the full asking amount into my hand and provide insurance details then you can take her for a ride, failure to do so means you either buy it without trying it or you don't buy it at all ... only serious buyers, no dreamers, tyre-kickers or time-wasters.
The bike is sold as seen with no warranty or Guarantee implied or given, cash on collection only ... no Paypal or Bank Transfer with a courier ... if you are going to spend this much money on a bike then you have to see it in person (my thoughts)
