Civic Type R FN2 - Modified

Description:

Full professional re-spray in March 2014 to get rid of all the small stone chips and imperfections, this included everything, bumpers, mirror caps, roof, etc. The roof, door handles, front grille, and fuel door were all sprayed gloss black and at the time of the re-spray brand new genuine Honda GP bumper kits were fitted both front and rear.
• 18x9.5" gloss black Bola B1 alloys (slight curbing but was planning on getting refurbished before next year show season starts)
• Tein Street Flex fully adjustable coil-over suspension (still like new) ride height and damper adjustable and have camber adjustable pillow ball top mounts. - Plus has had a Fast road geometry set up, so smooth, not hard, ride and clears all the speed bumps.

• Mtec drilled discs with Mintex pads all round
• New brake calipers all round with painted yellow with embossed 'Type R' logo on front calipers painted black with red R.
• Seeker style rear spoiler fin (painted gloss black)

• OEM Honda Access style wind deflectors.
• Custom stainless exhaust from the cat back with middle box deleted by Top Gear
• Scan Gauge II fitted with real time info (temps, RPM and so on) plus reads codes
• Front and rear parking sensors (colour coded) with LCD distance display
• Professionally re-trimmed multi-function steering wheel (audio, driver information, and cruise control) trimmed in perforated leather sides and alcantara top and bottom with red leather band at 12 o'clock position
• Alcantara shift boot with red stitching
• Genuine Skunk2 weighted gear knob.
• Full sound system upgrade consisting of:
• Pioneer AVIC-X8500BT double DIN touch screen head unit with App radio, Sat Nav unit, iPod control, parrot Bluetooth hands free with music streaming, and reversing camera, steering wheel controls all working with head unit. Every panel has been professionally sound proofed (Dyna-mat)
• Alpine SPR-17S Type R 6.5" component speakers in doors
• Alpine SPR-17C Type R 6.5" coaxial speakers in rear quarters
• Alpine 12" Type R sub in boot (small box to one side that has a quick release connection).

Mot – expires May 2018, passed only needing a new handbrake cable.
The sound system is absolutely brilliant, as you'd imagine it's loud, but it's more about the quality of sound which is more important, the whole set up sounds absolutely crisp yet smooth with no distortion.
Anything that has needed to be done on the car has been done with no expense spared, so worry free motoring for the new owner.
The only 'negatives' with the car are the fact that it's a high mileage example, 167k (All work carried out when purchased from original owner on 142k) but has 90% Honda main dealer service history all carried out at the same dealership, 11 Honda stamps in the book, and 3 services carried out by Honda specialists Dream Automotive with a major service being carried out in November by TI Motorsports (Tegiwa in Stoke) - (every fluid and filter changed using genuine Honda parts, engine and gearbox oil change, spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter, cabin filter, coolant, clutch fluid, auxiliary belt, as well as valve clearances checked and adjusted) It's since had another oil service and a brand new genuine clutch slave cylinder fitted due to the old one leaking slightly. Phil the owner of Dream Automotive commented on how clean the engine is internally and that it has minimal wear on the cams and the timing chain is in perfect condition (not stretched either) which shows it's been a well-cared for and maintained car all its life. The mileage is down to it being an ex-company car (From new) for a Land Rover regional manager who travelled all over the country in it, so I'd say it's had a very easy life for a type r and has always been maintained on schedule.

43k mile gearbox just fitted with new OEM clutch, new cables, cnc cable bushes, short shift (whole gear selector not the bolt on type), light weight flywheel, new fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plugs, valve clearance done, all fluids changed (oil, brake, clutch and coolant) total cost of work including the gear box just over 2k.
I have also had brand new original Honda headlights fitted (gives her a fresh clean look), a Tegiwa carbon bonnet (brand new) and gloss black vents installed.
The car is absolutely stunning and I am planning to keep (as with spending over 3k in the last 6 months)
