Up for sale is my rare Mitsubishi FTO GPX in JDM championship white. This is the facelift model. It benefits from a powerful V6 2.0 engine which sings beautifully. It also has air conditioning with climate control, an aftermarket stereo system with AUX, electric folding wing mirrors and an electric aerial, it’s has also had a new stainless steel OEM style exhaust system.

Car was imported in 2007 and has had a professional respray costing ££££s. It has covered 110,000 miles on the clock but this is mostly KM until the clocks were converted 2 years ago.

It has plenty of service history including a cambelt and water pump change last year. 11 months MOT. Unlike most imported FTOs, the fog lights have been correctly built into the taillights and not wired into a separate light that’s been cut into the bumper.

Engine is solid and so is the chassis, if anyone knows these cars they would know the GPX engine is bulletproof but it’s the chassis that usually lets these cars down due to rusting from lack of under sealing after importing. This car however has been fully under sealed and imported and therefore the car is amongst the best examples of FTOs. I can provide more pictures of the car underneath and even a video that I got whilst it was being MOTD.

The car is completely standard other than an aftermarket induction kit which sounds beautiful when complimented with the famous V6 engine when going through Mivec.

Automatic and Tiptronic all works absolutely sound and moves through all gears smoothly, with no crunches.

The bodywork is almost immaculate other than a scrape on the front of the bumper, but don’t let this put you off as it’s really not that bad in person and won’t cost much to put right, the paintwork is still gorgeous since it’s only a few years old.

The car also comes with aftermarket J-Racing wheels which have been painted in gold, if you’re really picky these could do with a refurb, but they are in decent condition. These are set on premium tyres including Nankang Ns2-r’s on the back.

The interior is in good condition, and there are no rips or tears on the seats.

The only bad point about this car is it has a slow puncture, and since it isn’t insured at the moment I won’t be able to fix it, however I can pump up the tyre on my drive before the test drive and purchase. Just trying to be as honest as possible.

I would highly recommend seeing this car in person as you won’t be disappointed and its not just another thrashed FTO, this has been very well looked after by all 4 owners and if you’re wanting a good, solid, reliable car that turns many heads, you’re looking in the right place.
