Ford focus 1.6 diesel and Astra van

I have 2010 focus spares or repair it's been sat on my drive for 2 years as it developed fuel problem knocking me into limp mode and cutting out all the time to the point it just cutt out 1 day and I couldn't get it running again and the fact I was out of work I couldn't afford to get it running. I've had it diagnosed and according to the guy the engines fucked turbo gone etc but as he is a body repair centre I'm sceptical if he is trying to pull fast 1 as he told me he's prepared to give £100 scrap. Any ways I have that and also I have 2008 1.3 cdti Vauxhall Astra van goes well just had brand-new mot I'm happy with it and not really wanting to part ways but as it's only 2 seats it's not really convenient when you got a house of 7 lol so looking to swap both vehicles for decent car or jeep/ pick up etc
