IVECO DAILY CREWCAB TIPPER 35C12

For sale 35c12 2005 crewcab twinwheel 2.3 tipper. I've used it for several months, my mate had it 8 years before me, it's been really reliable, but failed mot, so no good to me now. It's a bit scruffy but worth fixing, or break for spares. The engine runs great and pulls like a train, but uses lots of oil and water. The main problem with the mot was exhaust smoke, which must be tied in with the oil and water loss. It's never boiled over, and will drive any distance if you bring oil and water for top-ups. The emmissions test at mot time was passed, it only failed on visible smoke (and fairly so, it smokes a lot). It could be a turbo problem, head gasket, or, as the mot tester suggested-a cracked inlet manifold! Or a combination of those faults. The 2 rear inner tyres are bald. Best to bring 2 decent wheels, or take it away on a transporter, or risk 6 points. Since the pics were taken, the stickers have all been removed. The tipper works great, the body is ali with recent new floor, which was expensive! (using the most expensive ply at the timber suppliers). Gearbox and axles are fine. The central locking stopped working just after the mot, I believe it's only the fob battery. The o/s winder mechanism is dicky, same for indicator switch. It's generally scruffy, but could be minted up easily if the smoke/oil/water fault can be sorted. £600 ovno. Will consider swaps for a car, motorbike, trailer, or W.H.Y. Located WA13.
