BMW X5 E70 3.0 SD M-SPORT

What a cracking car this is, high performance and high practicality. Seats 7 in comfort and leaves most other cars behind when you put your foot down!

In original factory spec the 3.0SD twin turbo diesel puts out 285bhp, this one has been sensibly mapped to around 310bhp so it safely handles the extra power.

It's a lovely car to drive, I just need something less 'fancy' for the dogs and type of tracks/roads I'm often on.

I have had a Witter tow bar and elecs fitted a couple of months ago (£900) as we bought a caravan, its pulled it 3 times.

It has a full service history, and will be serviced this week so its good to go for another year or so.

Has just passed its MOT so has MOT to Oct 2021.

Full heated leather (front & rear) and factory fitted digital TV/DVD for the rear passengers (plays on front screen too if you're not moving) there's a remote to control the rear screens from the front.

Full set of BMW rubber mats, and has the original carpet mats too.

Factory fitted 7 seat model.

Everything works as it should apart from the reversing camera, it decides to work once every blue moon, doesn't bother me as the front and rear parking sensors work so no need for the camera.

It's had new front arms and ball joints for the MOT, but I haven't had it 4 wheel aligned yet, so that will need to be done, price reflects this.

Bluetooth telephone connection and Sat-nav factory fitted.

It has the head up display which displays speed, nav directions etc etc onto the screen so you don't need to take your eyes off the road.

Drivers seat has memory and the steering wheel is elec adjust so that moves with memory and when you get in and out.

Interior lighting is all LED.

I've replaced the passenger side rear air spring last month as it leaked, and I bought one for the driver side, on inspection its fine so didn't change it, so there's a spare air spring with it. Its literally a 10 minute job to change it if needed.

Discs and pads were done around 10k miles ago.

Two rear tyres are new for Mot and front two have done about 5k

My wife used it as the school run car for 12 months or so before I started to use it, she's got something more economical and I want some thing more rugged, like a double cab pick up, Land Rover etc. So I'd consider a part-ex or swap for something like that, if I can chuck the dogs, bike, kids in (in that order) then that's the type of thing I'm after.

Bodywork I'd say is in good condition, its a big car so its attracted some small dinks over the years, but nothing major and still very presentable. Colour is Carbon Black which in bright sunlight is a very very deep blue but at first glance it looks black.

Wheels could do with a refurb if they bother you (I'm more bothered about function than looks)

Interior could do with a good clean, hence I want something less fancy.

Theres a tiny hole in the drivers seat.

I've been very honest with the description and the price reflects the small amount of attention it needs to make it immaculate.

Brand new rubber boot liner included, there's a travall dog guard and divider too, if you want this you can have it for £100, if not let me know and i'll remove it.

It's a fixed price, so please don't be offended when I ignore 'how much for cash today'.

Car is in Blackburn but I'm regularly in Bolton too so viewing can be at either depending on time/day.

Car obviously hasn't been washed or cleaned in the pics, if I get chance I'll give it a bath and take new pics.

Mileage is 140k car is still in use daily so will rise. Theres currently an X5 Sd on eBay with 330k on the clock so that shows how strong these engines are if looked after.
