Construction
Fareham Oleander design by Morris Johnson
Butt welded steel plate over angle iron frame, hull built from a combination of 7, 6 and 5 mm
thick steel plate. Long keel with encapsulated ballast supporting steel rudder and steel bilge
plates Steel decks and superstructure with timber / plywood / laminated board fit out.
Cutter Ketch rig with deck stepped masts and wheel steering. Engine under the main cabin
sole. Galley to starboard, seating area amidships, en-suite V berth and double cabin. Recently surveyed and structurally
sound
Charging systems: Engine driven alternator, battery
charger on 240 circuit 2 x solar panels
engine : Perkins 4108. 45hp engine turns on the crank. Gearbox and shafts running out the stern.
Spars: 2 x mast + spreaders main & mizzen
boom - overhaul required
there is allso a baby blake toilet rare (1920/30)
was bought 5 yr ago antfowled 3 yr ago bought as a gentleman's yacht made more open plan as a liveaboard but due to a RTA and covid i have been unable to continue currently situated in dry dock at Preston there are all so all sorts of extra chains buoys and tbh stuff im not sure about loads of extra
