I have no idea where to start with this bike. I’ve owned it for 6 years and bought it completely standard from a well known and reputable Cubo Moto and it’s currently just over 13,000 miles and by far one of the trickest RC8’s in the U.K. This particular model is the original phase of the RC8 that left the factory back in 2008. I’ve literally never had a failure with it, however I’ve serviced it meticulously at Wayne Mounters KTM dealership during my ownership and it’s backed up with a FSH. I’m deciding to reluctantly sell it to gather funds and concentrate on a project I have. I’m however in no position where I need to rush a sale so I’ll be waiting for what I believe it’s worth to me. It gets the most attention by far where ever it goes, it’s not a subtle machine and people either absolutely fall in love with it or they think it’s just vulgar and unnecessary ( lol ). I have every single original part minus the exhaust ( which was heavy and useless anyway ). The bike can go back to a standard dress code for a lower price. So I’ll leave a list of what I’ve done just after the standard information..
It’s got really healthy Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa tyres, the front is 120/70/17 and the rear is 200/55/17. It comes with a track mode on the dash as standard, you’re able to record lap times and such ( if the track is your thing ). It has the WP race biased suspension so it does handle like a whippet on a sugar rush, it’s a very track orientated bike. There’s no modern electrical aids such as anti wheelie and abs etc and that’s why it’s such a raw, sought after bike, the first and last of its a kind, a guaranteed future classic. If you’re looking for a quiet bike to sit in comfort on then this certainly isn’t for you. It’s a big Vtwin so there’s a load of power all the way through the rev range. I have all of the service books and manuals including 3 keys and the original wallet. The upgrades are as follows..
