I have a rare Mazda RX8 2005 192 BHP

I got this car as payment for some work I did, it was a little project to get back on the road as this is a beautiful sports car with great pedigree.
I had the cat replaced, two new tyres, a little welding, drivers side front suspension a few other little bits and the car comes with MOT until 25/08/2022

Tho some of the pictures are from before the refurb, just haven’t had many nice days to get nice pictures so using ones from only a few weeks ago.

I’m gutted I need to get rid of this car because the shape and style is a real eye turner, she sounds great and pulls really well but with the imminent arrival of baby number 2 this car is not practical, and I’ve been told I need to find something else.


The bad bits:
Passenger side has had a slight scrape (previous to me) and slight dent that I’ve been told will pop out with no creases.
The engine light has come on a couple of times and when plugged in to the diagnostics it’s reading as O2 bank sensor, I haven’t replaced the sensor as I just haven’t had the time to buy and fit one. Replacement sensors on eBay are £25 - £60 depending on either after market or original.
I believe because of this sensor it throws a little more fuel in the mixture and sometimes after a drive the engine seems flooded and after 10-20 mins it’s fine again.

I am not a mechanic but I do love to have a tinkle that’s why I wanted to get this car back on the road, sadly because of the baby I just don’t have time to play with a car that’s Impractical for family life anyway.

I have tried to be completely honest with you but please feel free to ask any questions.

I don’t mind swapping something that does need a little work provided it’s got 5 seats. Also if your car has more value than mine I have cash to meet in the middle if needed.
