Description:

Volkswagen Beetle Race car project.
1972 Tax exempt road registered car with V5 and lots of history.
Fitted with a 2.8 Audi V6 Engine and 5 Speed Audi gearbox, mid mounted.
Needs work to finish off.
Has a VW Beetle Fun Cup Body Shell, Flip Front & Flip Rear fibreglass body.
All of the welding has been done except for a small patch on the floor.
Has custom made reinforced sills with a welded in roll bar and rear engine cage.
Upgraded rear shocks, a few spare parts to go with it.
IRS Rear suspension upgrade.
Wouldn't take that long to get it up and running.
Will be a one of a kind car when it's done, I'd value it at 25k finished.
My plan was to have it as a road legal race toy.
First couple of pictures show cars from the VW Beetle FunCup Race series.
The body shell came from a car that raced in the FunCup Series.
Will be a fantastic big boys toy or show car.
