Looking for small/medium and reliable 4-5 seat car swap for our multivan.

We bought our VW T25 at beginning of lockdown to use on camping trips away as well as the school run, however we now need a second car for work.

In the time we have owned it, it has served us perfectly as a second car several times a week and as a camper. It has the water-cooled 2.1 litre petrol engine it can easily sit on motorway speeds and keep up with modern traffic.

Our version is known as a Last Limited Edition (LLE) – see the dedicated club in Germany (www.lle-kartei.de). Ours is number 0422 of 2500 in Orly Blue.

For me, the van design is perfect for those that want a van as well as something to get away in. Although it doesn’t have a kitchen like a traditional camper, it has better sleeping arrangements, more light and visibility and can ferry 6 people in comfort. When it comes to camping, we use a large awning to set up for extra space.
