Here is our Revolution Customs Bmw E30 Baur TC Turbo.

This started life as a 323i baur tc2 meaning it is 1 of only 1660 ever produced and 1 of only 402 to ever hit the UK so an extremely rare car indeed and has undergone many changes, to my knowledge and research it is the only remaining 323i version left in the UK, i could be wrong but ive never seen another in 15 years of owning it.

A little history on Baur? Karosserie Baur was a german coachbuilder company that was responsible for these roof conversions from a normal coupe or saloon to what you see, they began with the E21 and it carried on through the E30 range as a £3795 optional extra (at 1985 prices) from new which was alot of money back in 1985.

Engine wise its fitted an M50 from an E36 with 101000 miles on it with a getrag box from the 318is E36, It has a GT30 Hybrid turbo with Vortec rising rate fuel pressure regulator to up the fuel pressure as boost rises, boost control is done with a Gizzmo electonic boost controller with solonoid running at low boost of 7psi with in cabin control.
It has a new sachs clutch from an E36 but would benefit from an uprated clutch as it tends to slip in 5th gear under boost, it has an auto diff from the 323 which has been welded so its extremely lively to drive, this car drift everywhere even at slow speeds and is lethal in the wet, it has a large catch can system thats custom made, engine is custom painted in a Marvel theme, uprated fuel pump with under bonnet guage and flow control, anodised vac manifold, silicone hoses, front mount intercooler, born2drift strutbrace, custom made manifold and exhaust system, custom made wastegate wing exit screamer pipe which is extremely loud, blitz blow off valve, custom made intake system still running Maf with air filter in the kidney grills, electric fan, custom made boost pipes, custom turbo plumbing returning oil to the chain casing, custom made loom with 20pin obd port under the bonnet and probably many more things ive forgotten.

Interior has custom made pedal box with larger servo, many gauges, boost, oil temp, oil pressure, afr, custom made switch panel for ignition, led lighting, fan etc, Deep dish suede steering wheel (detachable for security), Custom made hoonigan hydro handbrake (lever is detachable and cylinder needs replacement), Z3 seats, leather rears, tinted windows, faceoff cd player, 6x9 rear speakers, upgraded fronts.

Exterior has had the bulk head moved back 8 inches to make room for the engine to be mounted further back to get rid of the dreaded E30 understeer and better vehicle balance and to make room for the intercooler to be under the bonnet, external oil cooler currently not piped up, custom LED headlights and front fogs, custom front splitter, still has chrome metal bumpers wrapped black, Jap style front plate, custom high beam air intake scoops, born2drift bonnet risers, wide arches, custom sideskirts, Revolution Customs rear diffuser, custom made rear spoiler riveted on, aftermarket rear lights, Custom stainless exhaust, flamer kit, underbody neons (multiple colours and functions), Vinyl graphics all round.

Wheels are XXr 527 8x16" with 195/45r16 tyres all round, rear 20mm spacers.

Only noticable faults im aware of is the drivers electric window is slow and central locking works when it feels like it.
