Since owning this car it's had a new master cylinder, gear linkage and selector all replaced 8 months ago,.. just before I bought the car it had a whole new clutch pack and it's just had its mot TODAY passed 2nd time after having a balljoint replaced, handbrake issue sorted and the headlamps cleaned. Engine wise these are really reliable good engines , earlier models had issues but if you have a look the reviews on these engines are quite good and since I've had it there has been no problems at all, runs smoothly, pulls as it should no knocks or bangs,... its a really clean car inside and out and I've put a different head unit in with Bluetooth, movie player, phone link ect (i still have the old cd player and casing) ,... the car has done just over 100k  but basically a whole new clutch and bits in the last 5k ,... Great on fuel which is quite an important thing nowadays
