This car is a rare example in Vermont green with a light green leather interior. These are getting rare now and the E39 model is one of BMW’s finest. The 2.8 litre straight six engine is superb and with manual transmission, this is a car to enjoy and drive enthusiastically.

The car has had just three previous owners, all of whom knew each other through the same rugby club. Supplied by Hammer & CO BMW/Alpina, the car was looked after by main dealer, Ocean BMW, in Plymouth until just under 50K miles. After that the car was serviced and maintained by independent garages with a file of invoices to back up the service book. It now has 141K miles recorded and I can confirm the car performs as you’d expect a 528i to do. The jacking points on this one are all good and there's no rust on the bodywork.

The car has a glass sunroof and with the 5 spoke alloys it looks superb.
