VW Polo 1.2

Description:

2007 1.2 Ltr VW Polo in Dark Grey. 125k mileage. Just had a full service prior to MOT failure. (Failure points listed below). The car is too good to scrap and ideal for someone mechanically minded, which we are not. The car has an aftermarket exhaust which pops and bangs. It had an uprated cd head unit (included in sale) and a large sound system (amp and sub removed although wiring / fuses etc.still present). All Tyres seem road worthy, tinted windows. tinted lights, in car strobe lights but I have no idea how they work, (assume they don't for auction purposes). Seems to have a large cone shaped air filter (definitely after market, engine cover missing due to this.

To be clear this is a 2007 car and does have age related marks, although not in bad condition at all and will make a great first car for someone.

As the car has been sat in the garage for a while the battery is now dead, it fired up first time of a jump start yesterday but the battery will not hold any charge, a video of the car running can be seen upon request. Car can be started upon sale for new buyers peach of mind. Car has no MOT and is sorn so will need to be towed away.

Bad Points:

MOT Failure - points listed below.
Battery flat.
Small split in front bumper - (easy fix).
Brake pad light on dash came on and off yesterday. We think this is because the car has been sat for a while but please assume you will need new brake pads (cheap fix).
The airbag light came on when we jump started the car yesterday. Unknown issue but could be a simple fix for someone in the know.

MOT Failure points.
*Supplementary restraint system warning lamp indicates a fault.
*Position lamp not working offside rear.
*Drive shaft joint boot split (Offside front outer).
*Anti roll bar ball joint cover needs replacing (Offside front)
*Exhaust carbon monoxide content after 2nd fast idle exceeds default limits.
*Exhaust Hydrocarbon content after 2nd fast idle exceeds limits.
*Exhaust lambda reading after 2nd fast idle outside limits.

Looking for offers but keen on swapping for a motocross bike.
