WIDEBODY CLK55 AMG ONE OFF SHOW CAR
Description:
Here on offer is a very unique one off custom built show car - mercedes clk55 amg 5.5 v8
This car has been totally transformed over the last few years of my ownership, I have owned the car around 7 years now
The car itself is a 2003 clk55 amg (5.5 v8)
She has a full custom build to exactly replicate the clk63 black series (a £100k car)..... ok it doesnt have the 6.3 litre engine the clk63 has but unlike many of the other black series replicas you see with a 2.3 litre engine etc, mine is a real v8 amg.... with its 5.5 v8 amg engine that has been remapped by one of the top mappers in the area it's def not sluggish and with its custom exhausts it's guaranteed to put a smile on your face when she growls into life as you turn that key (folder full of pictures from the transformation build available)
The bodykit consists of the following:
Front and rear bumpers
Side skirts
Rear valence
Vented bonnet (rare to see)
Vented wide arch front wings and rear arch extensions
custom paint job in Italian racing red with gloss black roof and accents
I have around 100 pics of the cars transformation, copies will be given to winning bidder
She has 20" Judd t204 alloy wheels (9j fronts and 10.5j rears)
These cost me the best part of 2k all in
Custom made hubcentric spacers with a 20mm front and 60mm rear set up at a cost of nearly £600, all fully set up tracked and not one ounce of vibration or wobble
She also benefits from top of the range kw coilovers, these are very hard to source and had to be specially ordered from Germany at a cost of £1800 and are fully height and damper adjustable
Custom headlights, with 4 x demon eyes and led outer rings, these have about 200 different settings that can all be changed from a mobile phone app
Other car features:
Electric windows all round
Tinted rear lights
Air con
Digital climate control
Electric memory seats
Electric memory steering column
Electric seatbelt (comes out to you when you get in)
Electric headrests
Tinted windows
Remapped
Custom straight through exhaust from cat back (sounds amazing)
Full Mercedes floor mat set
Cruise control
Automatic with paddle shift on steering wheel
Heated seats
Parking sensors
Driver and passenger airbags
Side / door airbags
Curtain airbags
Auto wipers
Remote boot opening
Electric mirrors (also folding)
So there it is, a beautiful car that just needs a new owner who will cherish it as I have
viewing is more than welcome at my home and im open to sensible offers
I have been as honest with my description as I can be and I am open to offers but please don't message me offering stupid amounts etc as you will be ignored
Any serious buyer is more than welcome to come and view the car - you wont be dissapointed
Price is £20k ono cash..... £22k to £24k swap value
I HAVE LISTED THE CAR AT A GOOD PRICE CONSIDERING THE £35K+ I HAVE SUNK INTO THE BUILD
Footnote:
Around 5 years ago my car had just came out the bodyshop after having the extensive transformation and literary a few days later I went to a car show, on the way home it absolutely hammered it down and as a car came past me and threw up a big puddle and my car sucked in some water into the engine air intakes, I called recovery and they said don't start it and to call my insurance, my insurance come out and said they didn't even want to look into getting the engine fixed as a new engine would cost more than the car was worth and they wanted to write it off.... obv I went mad at them as had just done all that work
They agreed I could keep the car and they would give me a small payout to get the car fixed myself, so I took that option
I simply took the spark plugs out and then turned over the engine, it expelled a small amount of water and that was it, I replaced the plugs and she fired straight back into life, a fresh oil and new plugs where then added.... that was over 5 years ago now and she's not missed a beat since
Obv as they had paid out they had to put it on the register, So yes it has been previously registered as a cat n (non structural)... but it was something that cost me about £100 for plugs and oil to fix
The rear arches do have a couple of stress cracks but have been quoted £400 to have this rectified but tbh it doesn't bother me that much
Full walk around video available for anyone with serious interest
So considering the 35k+ this car has cost me to build this, my asking price is a bargain even with the slight claim over 5 years ago.... someone will get a great car listed at a over 15k less than the build cost :)
