Suzuki Gladius SFV 650 2009

Got a just over 50k Suzuki sfv 650 that I bought last year. Nippy bike and is great to ride but looking for something sportier or that is more of a tourer. I have a keen interest in mechanics so spent many a weekend tinkering away. In my possession it has had;
Mot till March 2024 and as part of mot has had:
Full front left and right calliper rebuild
Full master cylinder rebuild
New front and back tires
Bill totalled £900

I have done
Oil change
Oil filter change
Valve clearances- good for another 14k
Coolant change
Fork oil change
Fork seal change
Installed braided brake lines front and back
New brake pads front and back
New bar ends

Comes with Haynes manual (got some oil on it but still good) v useful

Bike has heated grips, crash bars and tail stowage
Previous owner had head bearing changed and new sprocket and chain.

I also have but brighter lamp in front headlight.

She rides well and have used her on motorways and back roads no issues. There was a slight issue when turning key the pump wouldn’t prime and the error code showed that was fault with ignition and the anti theft connection. By cleaning the barrel out with contact spray and ptfe appears to of eradicated it. If happens again you only have to jiggle key on and off again and it will work. There are the usual wear and tear marks around the bike and some rust on the frame slightly but I have greased and acf50 the bike regularly as well as chain maintenance. Seat is intact with no tears.

Aside from that she’s been well looked after, I’m just looking for something sportier or more of a tourer type bike that has been shown the same amount of care and time and effort that I have put into this.

Riding position is quite upright. Sfv is a twin engine with 74bhp approx got a digital gear and speed indicator display with low fuel light and reserve and analogue rev counter
