Mini Cooper s 2009 124,000 miles .. full service history . Log book in my name .Timing chain replaced not long ago with receipt. mot until December 2023. 2 keys , 4 x new tyres , full system exhaust (sounds lovely ) . Upgraded turbo and silicon hoses . Recently had valve stems replaced (with receipt ) along with vanos solenoid , engine flush and oil change . Engine amd gearbox are perfect but unfortunately last week the car has developed a 2885 code ( boost deviation ) car drives fine and then as soon as you put your foot down it loses boost and switches on the half engine check light . Everything points towards boost pressure solenoid or vacuum leak somewhere maybe a split pipe . Either way it’s a very minor fault . The car was driving amazing until a few days ago .. . I just haven’t got the time and patience anymore I’ve just spent £600 last week on her and I can’t justify spending anymore I’m just to busy . Other than the fault I’ve mentioned I have broken the handle that opens the bonnet but it’s still very easy to open the bonnet. the car drives absolutely superb . Breaks , suspension , steering are all perfect . It’s probably the cleanest mini I I’ve ever seen for its age this car hasn’t got a single mark on her it’s immaculate . This should be an easy fix for a mechanic or someone who is mechanically minded . I have the car valued around the 2 k mark hence the fault code . If the car was fixed which I will probably end up doing this week now I’ve calmed down , then it’s more like mid 3k . These go for a lot more money in this condition . Like I’ve explained in the top of the ad the timing chain and valve stems have been done , which are probably the most important and expensive jobs you can have done on these n14 engines in terms of maintenance . I dont really want to part with her amd I still may not I’m not 100% sure she’s a great little motor and a hell of a lot of fun ,but If I get a fair offer I’ll let her go . This is truly a great little car and this boost issue is something daft for someone who has the time or knowledge . Be quick because if I fix it the price will be going way up

I want to swap for

Anything really just no junk ( may consider a diesel )
