Alfred Herbert No. OV Milling Machine.


This item is from my late father's estate.


I know it works but I can not show it working as it is 3 phase, my dad used to run it on a 3 phase convertor but I have no idea where that is or even what it looks like. If you have your own 3 phase convertor you are welcome to bring it and fire her up as I have no doubt in my mind that it works.


It is how you see it in the pictures, it does need a good clean up now as it has gone unused for 6 or 7 years.


The main issue is moving it, it's very heavy and I can't assist as I have a blown shoulder, so you would have to organise moving it and then getting down a sloped drive somehow, you will need plenty of muscle.


I had a machine dealer come to collect something else that was completely unrelated to machinary but he spotted it and told me its value was between 1k and 1.5k, so I'm going for the lowest and hoping to get somewhere close.
