Testing the water on my 2000 CLK 430 V8

To save wasting your time I’ll list the bad bits first.

Generally looks good but not perfect due to age

Part of the dash is pixelated.

Back of front drivers seat(back rest) doesn’t adjust.

Knock at front end, diagnosed as steering drag link £100 plus fitting

Crack in lower windscreen(MOT advisory)


Good bits

Runs lovely
Gearbox good
Head turner
Getting very rare in this model, 140 odd on the road in the UK, will go up in value I’d imagine.

Very low genuine mileage for year.

MOT until 25th Feb 25

Looking to swap for something interesting, preferably able to have a classic policy like the Merc so 2000 or older.
