These are very rare cars around our part of the world. Only a handful of Caldina ST215’s that I’m aware of within the UK. Always been a car that I’ve wanted to tick off the list ever since my early teens! I just couldnt pass up the opportunity to say I’ve owned & driven one.
Ever since I’ve bought it I have spent a fair bit sorting bits and bobs out, as you do!
I’ve listed the main points below-

New Callipers
New Disks & Pads
Changed Brake Fluid
Adjust Power Steering Belt
New ARB link
Weld Exhaust Bracket
Replaced Rear Shocks (Used)
Rear Diff Mount

The car is stock except for a BOV and hasn’t been messed around with. Perfect opportunity for a new owner to keep it stock or to do their own modifications! The bodywork on the car is clean in regards to rust, massive bonus for a 90’s Jap Car. It has been undersealed and the sills are very good. I have pictures of the underneath that I am happy to send over to anyone interested.

Mechanically the car is very strong, nice and healthy. I bought this car from Scotland, drove it to Yorkshire & then down South a few weeks later to get it home and It never missed a beat during any of this route and performed admirably. It hasn’t seen a massive amount of road time since I’ve had it other than trips to the garage to get bits done that I’ve mentioned above and also road tests & the odd weekend drives. since purchase the brakes have all been overhauled too which is a massive plus for the new owner!

Paperwork wise unfortunately not a massive amount present with it. Previous owner supplied me with a car key, V5 & MOT Certificate. I have some receipts for bits I purchased from TCB & Invoices for the works that I have had done in my ownership.
There’s a sticker in the engine bay for timing belt having been done at 104,000KM. Car is currently sitting at 142,000K. This will be a mix of Miles & KM as the car has been converted over to Miles at some point.

Extremely comfortable and can perform great as a daily or as a weekend toy. The bodywork could do with some love in terms of the paintwork but it’s by no means in a bad state.

Same engine/running gear as the Celica GT4’s. This particular one is a Manual transmission & from what I understand there was only a small percentage that came as manual from factory.

Sounds great, looks great, performs great. Honestly such a fantastic car! In my opinion comes in the best kit available. I’ve always wanted a Caldina GTT and had always said I hope to have one with this particular front end/Kit. I have a picture in my phone since 2013 of one that looks near identical to this!

Absolutely gutted to sell it but I’ve got too many toys and they all have to go unfortunately as I need the money to put into other things. Joys of Adulting!
I’ve spend a good couple £££ on this since I’ve had it and would have continued to spend more to make it completely mint but unfortunately needs must so it’s available for someone to take over and cherish.

Really hard to value as it’s such a rare car over these shores not to mention the facts it’s also a manual.
