1986 mk1 golf gti cabriolet

Very reluctant swap
My missus has decided our 2 great danes shouldnt be in the back of her beetle cab now they are almost fully grown so we need a larger vehicle. Ideally after a vw toureg or even a touran
The mk1 golf we have is a 1986 1800 dx/gti in gold/silver. We bought this as a bit of summer fun knowing it needed work. Engine was tired and it spluttered on tickover and the ride was terrible
We replaces all brakes new handbrake cable new fuel lines new fuel tank new starter new coil full engine service in fact anything that mechanic said change we did including new suspension all round and changed the stupidly wide wheels previous owner put on for period correct tanantula alloys and fresh tyres.
It does need a little more fettling like door latch on drivers side behaves steangly
Wipers only work on high setting??
Horn sounds when you turn left??
Interior is ok but not mint
Hood is good with some wear but no rips and its watertight
Its currently dry stored in my garage
