Description:

Low mileage classic BMW E30 316i 2 door FSH, 3 KEYS, FULL LOGBOOK, ALPINE WHITE II

I purchased this car approximately 12 years ago with around 95000 miles on the clock. Its currently sat at 113500.

The car has full service history and has been an absolute pleasure to own. Its a very reluctant decision to advertise this car and the only reason is for a potential business venture.

Its had everything its needed over the years and hasn’t missed a beat in my 12+ years of ownership.

The car is in excellent condition for a 35 year old car, although as expected, there will be the some blemishes etc. It had all the rust and new front and rear arches and sills done in 2018.

-1989 BMW e30 316i 2 door saloon facelift
-Very rare original Alpine White II
-Manual gearbox
-Blue cloth interior (has rips in the base of seat)
-Electric windows
-Electric mirrors
-Power steering
-2 Spare keys
-Kenwood CD player with upgraded speakers
-Sunroof (needs attention as not closing, interior roof handle has come off/ comes with genuine used replacement seals)
-HPI clear
-113, 000 miles with full service history
-MOT till October 2024
-Super rare Azev A Alloys 16x9 all around including ultra rare genuine flat diamond centre caps.
-Recently refurbished but have a couple small curb marks unfortunately
-Brand new Toyo Proxes all round with less than 100 miles on them

IF YOU CAN FIND THIS SET OF WHEELS WITH THESE CAPS YOU WOULD BE LOOKING TO SPEND AT LEAST £1000 (without tyres)

The engine and box are sound and has recently been serviced. The brakes aren’t the best and could need bleeding as they’re a little spongy.

Some of the work done in the past couple years:

Timing belt
Water pump
Thermostat
Lowered suspension
Fan belt and power steering rack
Suspension leg
Track rod ends
Black grills
LED Headlights
Running a little negative camber on rear

Few niggles:

Rear demister has stopped working probably a cheap fix, i just haven’t had the time to look at it
Torn drivers seat
I had fitted fog lights to the car but never got round to fitting the relay and switch to make them work.
Sunroof needs attention as I tried replacing the seals myself and ended up getting it stuck so it wont close.
The clocks are temperamental and this is massively common.
The usual hairline cracks are present in the dash
The glove box needs the lock mechanism replaced. ( I have a new one but didn’t get around to fitting)

On close inspection of the sills, there is minor surface rust. This is no way near as bad as the majority of E30's out there. There is NO rot that I've noticed.

As you can see it’s a real head turner and it gets compliments everywhere it goes.. and when it’s parked on the road, I’ll regularly find a note on the windscreen asking if I’m selling it etc. but ive never been tempted.

I’ll be gutted to see it go. The car never fails to turn heads and everyone appreciates a well maintained E30. You’ll get plenty of compliments when driving this car. I’ve owned many high performance cars and they’ve been modified lowered etc but nothing has come close to the amount of attention my e30 gets.

Im looking for a realistic £7995 OVNO. Its very good value and its not a battered distastefully modified version. Considering the amount of work done, the mileage, colour, history, wheels etc this car is reasonably priced. It doesn’t need a lot of money at all like some of the e30’s out there to get it perfect.

I’m open to genuine offers.. and would potentially consider a px if it’s suitable for me.

Thanks for having a look.. I’m not desperate for a sale however the funds would go a long way for a new venture.
It would be awesome for someone to appreciate and make use of.. I just don’t get to drive it anymore unfortunately. I looked for about a year or so before purchasing this car. Ive been on e30zone since 2010 and went to view loads of sheds before finding this gem which was local to me in Solihull.
Its sits well and drives well.. its not too low and looks stunning when it’s rolling past.
It was my daily driver for the first few years of owning it.. but soon after it became a weekend car and only came out when the sun was out. It’s been to a few car shows and got loads of positive feedback and loads of attention for the colour/ wheels/ condition.
