Description:
It is with a heavy heart that I have to offer for sale my MK2
Seat Leon Cupra R. They only produced 349 of these for the UK roads.
HPI CLEAR
Over and above the standard cupra, the R came with the CDL block producing 265bhp stock with a factory KO4 Turbo, commonly found in the Audi S3 and TTS and on the interior it came with the diamond stitched leather seats with the gloss black backs. This car has been tuned to 359bhp and has all the supporting mods such as a RAMAIR oversized induction kit, Cobra sport exhaust system, RS4 FPRV and a HPFP upgrade, Uprated Intercooler. The car sits on H+R lowering springs & 11mm Spacers handles like a dream.
It has got a full service history up until I got it in August 22 at 85000 - I have serviced it twice since and have the invoices for the parts - once with plugs and once without. I have also changed the coil packs on it. There is alot that I have missed.
- Service Due August 2025 (just done major with spark plugs and cam follower etc)
- Mot Due July 2025
- Cambelt & Waterpump done May 2024
In the spirit of honesty the car is not cosmetically perfect on the exterior - nothing over and above whats to be expected for a car that's 15 years old. There is a dent on the bonnet in the middle which has never bothered me and a few chips here and there. The diffuser also has a crack in it which is not noticeable unless up close. On the interior I'd go so far as to say it's mint. I bought the car to enjoy it not to take it to shows but it would polish up really well. I looked at a few R's before I bought this one and this was the most mechanically sound one I could find.
I have thoroughly enjoyed every moment of owning this car however I need to funds to start my own business so both this and my 320D daily are on sale. The car really has to be driven to be appreciated it drives like it's done half the mileage. If I could find a way to keep the car I would, and if it ever it comes back up for sale once gone, I would buy it back in a heartbeat.
Shoot me a message with any questions and I welcome any inspections and test drives.
