Model:
Seat
Year:
2009

Description:
Owned by me for 4 years and utterly reliable and competent in all that time. Sadly I have a painful arthritic hip with hip replacement surgery due so now need an auto.
Mine is rare, one of 43 FTSi's on UK roads. One of only 9 in Luna Grey.
Described by one owner as an Audi TT in a Fat Suit. Bit of a stretch but it does have the Mk 5 Golf GTi Engine and Chassis, raised ground clearance and 4WD. It is faster 0-60 and top speed than my Peugeot 205 GTi 1.9 of distant and fond memory. Bit more luxurious too
100,400 miles and rising as this is my daily driver

The good bits. Any advisory at any and all MOT's in the years I've owned it have been resolved immediately. Non smoking interior, undamaged, cigarette burn free deep cushion upholstery, all seat bolsters full. Recently clayed paintwork, good tyres, new discs, callipers and pads, new brake fluid following flush, FSH includes the Haldex 4WD system
The two not so good bits. Small narrow patch of rust showing on inside rear door leading edge (pictured) I have bought the right colour professional paint system for this to give with car. The inner parts of the alloy wheels are scruffy too and I have a wheel paint kit including tyre mask for this. I can't bend currently to do these simple tasks
My insurers Aviva value my car at £2650 but they go for more than this in dealers and less in private sales. I’ll be realistic on values as should you and a cash either way compromise can usually work. Whatever is fair to both of us really
Also if we live in different areas of this little UK island then meeting halfway is fair too. Mine will get there, as should yours.
