Bodywork is pretty damn good for its age and scrubs up beautifully , but obv being 20yrs old then expect the odd mark etc. EDIT recently some kind soul left a scratch on bonnet. Nothing sinister and nothing my detailer couldn’t remove
Idrive has never worked in the 5 yrs but it’s never bothered me enough to fix as was more bothered about looks and performance, diversity antenna needs replacing as only locks with key now but not expensive nor difficult to do but again it has never bothered me as the key works fine
Usual airbag/seatbelt lights on dash as you will find in most e60s, common as pig shit
Engine light came on other wk but didn’t effect the drive, had it plugged up and it said MAF was the issue so I have fitted a new Bosch 1 (170£ with proof) and it still throws the light on randomly saying MAF but still doesn’t affect the drive. I’m suspecting a boost leak but it must be tiny as there’s no obvious signs or noise so will want a smoke. Could also be a dirty air filter which with the car hardly being used is very possible also. Or could just want the battery disconnecting for 10 mins apparently as it needs to forget the values of the MAF and ecu then run default factory MAF values whilst it learns what it needs to for the new MAF
