Parts fitted before my ownership consist of, red forge silicone boost and intercooler hoses, forge recirc valve, neuspeed induction kit, APR remap, mk4 golf r32 front anti roll bar 23mm, powerflex ARB mount, powerflex wishbone front and rear bushes, powerflex rear beam mounting bushes, powerflex steering rack bush, powerflex lower front engine mount, powerflex engine mount, scorpion catback stainless exhaust system, illuminated cupra r gear knob, wheels refurbed gunmetal grey, with various receipts from awesome gti.
Features include remote central locking, electric windows, electric folding mirrors, alarm, immobiliser, aircon, heated rear screen, brembo 4pot front brake calipers.
Door locks can be temperamental and won’t unlock drivers door with the central locking but does unlock with the key, I do have a new door lock mechanism to go with the vehicle.
The vehicle drives and boosts as it should, I’ve used this daily for the past couple of months covering almost 2000 miles in it, I’ve only ever put premium petrol in it during my ownership as I find the older stuff drives and performs better on it. The vehicle is 21 years old so is showing signs of age but it does clean up very well, the roof area has suffered with paint fade / sun burn, don’t affect the running of the vehicle it’s just a bit of a negative towards the car, they usually suffer from lacquer peel but this one hasn’t. The wing and bootlid R badges have been changed to red, side repeaters are a very light smoke colour but still flash orange.
Still fitted with the standard Seat cassette player and 6disc changer fitted in the glovebox. I’ve fitted a digital boost gauge in the drivers side air vent which compliments the interior rather well as it matches the red dash illumination other than that the interior remains unmodified but very presentable.
I originally purchased this car to keep in the garage and hopefully make some money on it but the more I’ve driven it the more I’ve got to like it, This being said it will remain one of my daily drivers until it potentially sells.
Any question is welcome but I won’t be allowing test drives without funds in my hand, you bend it you buy it. No group viewings etc
No warranty is given or implied, and is sold as seen
