Recently had all brake pipes changed to copper and fully bleed for extra safety when towing.
It’s in great condition for its age with only minor age related marks. small scuff on the rear bumper is probably the worse of it.
The previous owners (and myself) thoroughly looked after this car with no expensive spared throughout its life. All paperwork kept for all work carried out for its entire life, most of which is main dealer work.
Gearbox service completed
Timing belt changed
Bad points:
- Since i changed the battery i get the ride high compressor fault lamp on the dash, I've read online that this could just be because the battery isn't strong enough to power it but it also could be a coincidence. it intermittent and wont happen after a long drive but will happen if i do lots of short drives. Not an issue for me as its not unsafe and I don't go full off-roading to benefit from it. (Compressor is around £130-£150 plus around 2hours fitting or could be that i fitted the wrong battery)
- Could also benefit from a new set of brake pads if towing and a service as i havent done may miles with it lately.
Since we’ve had it we’ve mainly used it for towing a horse trailer (small pony) and going to and from pony club for my daughter. I have from time to time used it for commuting too but this is very rare.
I now have a company car so it gets very little use, I only use it now to keep the engine ticking until sold.
Any question please ask.
The car is located in Wem, Shrewsbury.
